Wellness Tip: Make Grocery Shopping Fun!

Grocery Bingo - Make Shopping FunDo you dread going grocery shopping? Let’s put some fun into it by playing grocery store bingo. Use grocery shopping to teach kids about food and nutrition. Did you know? A study found that kids gain weight more quickly during summer vacation than during the school year. Maintain the momentum your school created this year by encouraging students and families to continue to eat better and move more this summer. proctors needed for testing!

We need proctors to assist with our End-Of-Grade testing.  If you are 18 or older, and have already graduated high school, you are eligible.  We have openings for May 31 and June 1.  Proctor training will be on May 8 at 12:45 pm.  There is a make-up date on May 16 at 8:15 am.

May 5:     K-5 Field Day. (Due to weather conditions, postponed until May 26)

May 9:     Progress reports go home.

May 19:   Volunteer breakfast, 7:30 am.

May 25:   5th Grade Science EOG.

May 26:   Field Day, grades K-5

May 29:   Memorial Day/no school.

May 31:   ELA EOG grades 3-5.

June 1:     Math EOG grades 3-5.

June 2:     Pre-K celebration (9:00 am)/Memory book signing party.

June 7:     Awards day assemblies: Grades 3-4 at 8:30 am; Grades K-2 at 12:30 pm.

June 8: 5th Grade celebration, 9:00 am.

June 9: Last day of school.  2 hour early release (12:25 pm).  Reports go home.  Report cards will not be given out before 10:00 am.
