Wellness Tip: Stay Active

NOV 3   Report cards go home.  Please sign and return the envelope.

NOV 5   Daylight Savings Time ends.  Turn your clocks back 1 hour Saturday night.

NOV 8   Awards Day.  Grades 3-5 at 8:30 am; Grades K-2 at 1:00 pm.

NOV 9   Three hour early release for students.   Students leave at 11:25 am.  Lunch will be served.

NOV 10  Veterans Day.  No school.

NOV 13  Parent-Teacher conferences start and continue all week.

NOV 15  Fall picture make-up day.

NOV 16  Reading Curriculum Night, 4-7 pm.

NOV 22  Teacher workday, no school for students

NOV 23-24  Thanksgiving Break, no school.

 CCS’ Next Superintendent: Tell Us What You Think!

The Cumberland County Board of Education has hired the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) to help facilitate its search for the next superintendent of the Cumberland County Schools (CCS). The Board wants direct input from members of the community to help shape the search process and to assist in defining the qualities and characteristics desired in the next CCS’ superintendent.
